When I get inside the car and the Parking Mode is enable, once I close the door it turns on, which will not be annoying as much as that after starting the engine it goes back off and if I turn it on again it runs for a while then again turns off alot of time even if select the Auto Power Off as disabled, so you’ll have to turn off the Parking Mode so you won’t get benefit from this feature.

Clear video and good framerate with front camera. Acceptable field of view.-Good suction cup and decently strong mount.

Some button functions are strangely programmed. It works, but requires some playing around with to figure out, and instruction manual does not give much help. For mine, I must enter ‘snapshot mode’ before the ‘Settings’ button can work. Otherwise, it doesn’t work in any other mode.
Front camera has a slight ‘fishbowl’ effect. Not too bad but it is noticeable in recorded footage.

Great camera. Picture quality is great.
Red light camera notification is a wonderful benefit.
The camera is very configurable, and nearly every setting can be disabled or tweaked to suit your needs.
Motion detection is very accurate.
The software for viewing the video works on a Mac or PC.
The video transition from daylight to lower light (ie: garage or parkade) is excellent.

Cons

On the lowest volume setting, the “voice” notifications (upcoming redlight camera, poweron notifications, etc) are still pretty loud and chatty, but the driving assist notifications (lane departure, vehicle proximity, etc) are hardly audible.
The sensor for parking events is a bit too sensitive, and the camera triggers an alert every time I open my car door. It would be nice if the camera would just discard these events if the camera powers on a few seconds after the alert is triggered.
